For the last 8 years, we’ve been building a B2B media force in commercial real estate. We’ve developed a leading integrated digital platform providing news, information, events, and marketing services.
Last year, for the third consecutive year, we were recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in the US and ranked among the top 10 media companies.
Now, we’ve launched into a new vertical: financial services.
We’re looking for a strategic, knowledgeable, well-connected business development star to help lead the way.
We’ll look to you to establish relationships for our new brand and grow sales, to help us build a great, new B2B media property.
Responsibilities
· Identify leads as potential sales targets for the integrated platform with a heavy focus on advertising, content marketing, and events (digital and live), as well as the ability to sell full-service marketing and agency services
· Promote the brand and offerings by phone, email and at in-person events
· Track leads, potential deals and sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM
· Work with technology team to cultivate lists of engaged/warm leads
· Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
· Serve customers by consulting, selling products and meeting customer needs
· Work with marketing and creative teams to identify sales collateral needs
· Stay in tune with financial services industry trends, best practices and market changes
· Deliver market insights from sales interactions to executive leadership
Desired Skills & Experience
· Expertise in selling a highly targeted audience
· More than 3 years of experience in B2B media/sponsorship sales
· Experience in financial services industry with strong, established relationships
· Go-getter, self-motivated, highly focused
· Curious mind, an interest in building something from the ground up, a desire to shape business development products and strategy
· Strong writing and interpersonal skills
· Experience working with HubSpot (a plus)
· Ability to think strategically and work in fast-paced, team-oriented, yet remote environment
· Excellent communication, creative, writing and organizational skills
· Able to multi-task, make decisions quickly and be creative
· Must be highly detail-oriented and possess solid organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year + commission
