Why Our Opinion Matters...

Going in to this blogging process I was excited initially at the fact that I would get to interact first hand with industry professionals on a platform that lets me express myself as far as this whole big media universe is concerned.

I must say that I feel completely awesome to have even been considered by the Center for Media Design to participate in a project of this caliber.

With that being said, I think that there need to be more opportunities for this sort of dialogue. Yes, I do understand that I do not have decades worth of experience under my belt. No, I’ve never been to any fancy techie type conventions up in the mountains.

No, I don’t have people throwing money at the base of my soapbox to hear me rant on and on about the futures of computing technology, usage, and whatever else as if it were the gospel truth handed down from the heavens and dispersed from my mouth (fingers) to your ears (eyes).

But I believe that those are the things that qualify us to speak and be heard more than anyone else. We have not become stuck in our ways, habits, and jargon to the point where we are of no use to the average consumer.

I’d like to take this moment to thank each and every one of my fellow bloggers and those of you who read and left comments … even the rude people.

God bless you all, and continue to do great work!
