E-reader? Or the Old fashioned book?

A couple years ago, I was interested in buying a Kindle so that I wouldn't have to buy anymore textbooks. Then I was a little unclear about whether my textbooks were accessible through the Kindle and that would have defeated the purpose of purchasing one. I would only purchase an e-reader to keep from having to carry a full load of books on my back. Otherwise, I would much rather prefer a physical book in my hands.

I like the satisfaction of feeling like I have completed something with each turn of a page.I enjoy the art of the cover and connecting it to the content of the book. Compared to the e-readers, I find books easier to look at. I have a hard time as it is looking at a computer screen for hours, so I don't think I would be able to enjoy the book as much as I want because it would be painful to do.

I'm not saying that the Kindle or the Nook is a horrible idea...but I think there are appropriate times for those types of gadgets and I would rather not have them replace my good old fashioned book.
