The Art Of Commemorating 9/11

Here's another way the media's been reflecting the 10th anniversary of 9/11 -- through the images on magazine covers. Fishbowl provides a gallery of some of the best as "a reminder of the power of a fantastic cover," Chris O'Shea writes.

Not a wide variety of images here, with most a variation on the New York City skyline. Still, there are some simple yet effective concepts, like the word "RESILIENCE' against Newsweek's blue sky where one small plane is flying. We also liked The New Yorker's black and white illustration showing the 9/11 anniversary lights reflected in the river.
