'Village Voice' Claims 'TONY' Stole Phrase 'Best Of New York'

The Village Voice is suing Time Out New York for using the phrase "Best of New York," which is allegedly trademarked by the Voice.

We're not the only ones who think this lawsuit is ridiculous, especially considering the Voice's demands if it wins: its publisher "wants the magazine to hand over its profits and for the court to grant an order directing Time Out New York to 'recall and destroy or surrender' the offending magazines," writes Jeff Roberts.
