The News UK tabloid recorded a 7.36% rise in the number of people visiting its website each month – to 31,781,861 browsers – compared with June. The Sun began charging for access to its website at the beginning of August, with news articles and mobile clips of Premier League football costing £2 a week under the rebranded Sun+.
