The publisher of the Newark, N.J.
Star-Ledger, Richard Vezza, threatened to shut down the paper by year's end "if it can’t come to an agreement with one of [its] four unions," writes
Andrew Beaujon. Apparently, Vezza made a similar threat in June, but so far has failed to carry it out.
