GM wants to expand its Shop-Click-Drive system. The automaker netted about 1,000 buyers after while piloting the program; however, fewer than 10 used the
application to buy vehicles without going to a dealership. It's an example of automakers attempting to use the Web to sell new cars. The National Automobile Dealers Association is skittish about such
efforts, because of the likelihood that dealers will be cut out of the question. Why go to a dealer when you can do the transaction online?
