Carlos Tavares To Be CEO Of Peugeot Citroen

Former top Renault/Nissan Alliance exec and heir apparent to CEO Carlos Ghosn, Carlos Tavares has been named CEO of the troubled PSA Peugeot Citroen. His career at Renault/Nissan spun off the road in August when he said in an interview that he’d like to leave his job as chief operating officer of Renault for a job as CEO for one the Detroit Big Three. Out of the fire, into the frying pan: Peugeot is in a financial mess and losing sales and share.
