Darden Media's deal to buy
Maxim magazine and parent Alpha Media is over. Darden failed to come up with the dough, a source tells Keith Kelly. Looks like the new owner will be the "No. 2
bidder, a joint venture that includes Infinity Group, a licensing company, and Hilco Global, a buyer of distressed assets."
