Gannett, the largest US newspaper publisher, has created new job titles for editorial staff along with revised descriptions
of their duties, as Jim Romenesko reveals. He cites a series of job titles now
on offer at one of Gannett's daily titles inFlorida, the Pensacola News Journal, which were leaked to him by a tipster who said the
changes are to be standardised across all of the company's papers.
