Michael Finnegan has been named chief operating officer of Atlantic Media, according to Poynter.org. Finnegan previously headed strategy and finance for Atlantic. In a letter to employees chairman and
CEO David Bradley credited him with leading the company's recent move to distributed content, including partnerships with Facebook and Apple. Bradley also noted that Atlantic grew 20% in 2014, thanks
in large part to Finnegan's leadership.
