Chick-fil-A is adding kale to the menu, horribly (if you’re a purist of Southern food). The company, known for its "Eat Mor Chikin" slogan, launched a legal battle in 2011 with an
artist over his "Eat More Kale" shirts. But now the chain has kale on its menu, called Superfood Side, next to the spicy chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. It comprises hand-chopped kale and
broccolini, dried cherries and nuts. Chick-fil-A's VP of menu strategy and development, David Farmer, talks it up in a promotional video at the jump.
