Kasich Says GOP Senators Should Meet Supreme Court Nominee Merrick Garland

In a significant break from what other GOP presidential candidates have been saying, Ohio Governor John Kasich told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that Republican Senators should probably at least meet with the President’s nominee. Going further, Kasich even suggested that he might look at Garland as his own choice of nominee, should the Governor end up winning in November.
