VC Investment Dollars On Upswing

There was a 3% rise in global venture capital investment last quarter -- rising to $27.4 billion -- according to a newly released report from CB Insights and KPMG.
“Yet the number of global deals fell to 1886, the lowest seen since the second quarter of 2013, and down 6% from the prior quarter,” TechCrunch notes. Also, the “funding was propped up by mega deals,” Anand Sanwal, founder and CEO of CB Insights, tells TechCrunch.
