Good news for step-counting swimmers: Fitbit’s newest line of fitness trackers includes a
water resistant device that recognizes when you start to swim and measures your laps. The Flex 2 is an update to Fitbit’s cheapest device, the Flex, and it will sell for the same price
— $99.95. The device is the Fitbit thinnest yet — 30% smaller than the original —and the company’s first-ever to track swimming. It's is water resistant up to 50 meters
and is safe for both pool and ocean swimming.
