The idea of autonomous driving got a boost from two major brands. Daimler and Bosch said they have a goal of bringing self-driving cars that can be shared, at least within certain areas. The cars
coudl be summoned by a mobile app, pick up a passenger and drop them off at their destination and then head to the next call.
