Users Deleting Social Media Accounts Because Of Privacy Concerns

Edelman found four out of every 10 people surveyed said they had closed at least one of their social media accounts in the past year. Of the 9,000 polled, 70% think businesses and advertisers should put pressure on social media sites to remove offensive content and 48% blame the brand if its advertising appears next to violent content or hate speech while 62% want more regulation on social media networks.
