Dana Rosen Tapped As Chief Legal Officer For 'Time'

Time announced today that Dana Rosen will be its Chief Legal Officer. She begins her new role on Monday.

In a letter to staff, Time EIC-CEO Edward Felsenthal wrote: “Of Time’s many assets, none is more valuable than trust. We witness that trust, accrued over nearly a century, every day from our audiences around the globe, from our partners, and from one another as colleagues and stewards of this brand.”

Felsenthal noted that a priority of Time’s was to “recruit an in-house counsel for our team who is both lawyer and leader, with the mission of preserving that trust and holding all of us to the highest standards in our business, in our journalism and in our culture,” as it establishes itself as a new company.

As Chief Legal Officer, Rosen will lend her legal expertise to teams across business, editorial and leadership. She will also oversee all legal matters at Time and manage the outlet’s “relationships with outside counsel around the world.”
