'Time' Revamps Editorial Management

Time has announced several changes to its editorial team, according to a memo sent to staff by Editor-in-Chief and CEO Edward Felsenthal and Deputy Editor Sam Jacobs. 

The goal is to build subscriptions and speed digital transformation. 

The appointments include: 

Kelly Conniff to senior executive editor. Conniff adds the magazine to her portfolio and will lead the editorial team that oversees all of Time’s major platforms.  

Dan Macsai, Executive Editor, adds the role of Vice President of editorial strategy 

Naina Bajekal to Executive Editor. 

Ben Goldberger, Executive Editor to add a new portfolio.: Developing a podcast strategy with TIME Studios, increasing editorial partnerships with outside newsrooms while working with consumer marketing to develop bookazines and other special print issues.

John Simons, Executive Editor to oversee Time’s international reporters.  

Alex Altman, Deputy Washington Bureau Chief adds role of Executive Features Editor. 

Victor Williams to Digital Design Director. 

Lily Rothman to Assistant Managing Editor, Magazine. 

Elizabeth Murray to Assistant Managing Editor, Audience and Operations. 

Brittany Robins, Deputy Digital Editor adds role of improving Time’s digital product and experience and building subscriptions.  

Elijah Wolfsonleader of Health and Science teams, to Editorial Director, Health, Science and Climate 

Haley Edwards to Deputy Washington Bureau Chief. 

Lucy Feldman, Senior Editor adds role of managing writers. 

Cate Matthews to Senior Editor. 

Bill Hennigan to Senior Correspondent. 

Lori Fradkin to Executive Digital Editor.
