Washington Post Live is
launching a weekly hour-long program on Peacock. It will appear each Friday at 4 p.m. ET on Peacock’s streaming channel “The Choice from MSNBC.
Each episode will feature a First
Look round-table discussion hosted by columnist Jonathan Capehart.
In the first program, Capehart will chair a discussion with WaPochief correspondent Dan Balz and
contributing columnists Donna Edwards and Hugh Hewitt about the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the current status of the war on terror and the recent U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
This
will be followed by a talk between WaPo columnist David Ignatuis and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair about 9/11 and where the world stands now in its war on terrorism.
Peacock is NBCUniversal’s
streaming service and is available on various devices. Washington Post Live is thenewsroom’s live platform — seen as an extension of the paper’s journalism.
