OZY Media hired Courtney Matthews as vice president of marketing in June, the eighth major appointment this year, the company announced this week. 

Matthews will help drive OZY’s brand refresh, collaborating with the content and revenue teams to accelerate the company's growth.

The new vice president has spent much of her career at Rodale, supporting Bicycling Magazine, Runner’s World magazine’s international publications and Backpacker Magazine, among other chores. In addition, Matthews has served The North Face and Sierra Designs. 

Matthews notes that “OZY's current, exciting brand journey is fueled by a diverse leadership team made up of women and people of color.”
