Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour has broken
the magazine’s ties with rapper Kanye West following anti-Semitic remarks on his part, media reports state.
Wintour has been friends with Ye, as he is now called, for over a
decade, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Wintour invited Ye to his first Met Gala in 2009, and since then they have gone to lunch and
supported each other in activities.
A Vogue spokesperson told Page Six that West’s "White Lives Matter" T-shirts and rants against Jews were “too much for
Wintour,” Insider writes.
Last week, luxury fashion brand Balenciaga S.A. ended its relationship with Ye.
