AIM Media Indiana LLC has named Richard Clark as publisher of The Republic in Columbus and as vice president and group publisher for all of AIM’s Indiana properties, effective December 5.  

He succeeds Bud Hunt, who is retiring from the company. 

Clark will head up daily newspapers in Columbus, Franklin, Greenfield and Seymour, and weeklies in Nashville, Brownstown, Pendleton, New Palestine and Fortville-McCordsville.  

He will also be responsible for DigitalAIM, a digital services operation, and a magazine and special publication division. He will also be in charge of all websites and digital assets, the Republic writes.   

Previously, Clark was regional advertising director for Adams Publishing Group, supervising 20 newspapers across the region.
