The British offices of Vogue publisher Condé Nast are moving from its long-time home in a
building on Hanover Square in London, the place where Anna Wintour started her fashion career, to the Adelphi building in Embankment, according to The Guardian.
An email to the staff said the relocation would “potentially” occur by January 2024.
“There’s no other way to say it
– leaving our iconic Vogue House will be hard,” the email states, according to The Guardian. “After many attempts to find a way to expand and redesign the space to
meet our needs, there were just too many challenges to be able to do so.”

The Guardian writes that in Vogue's six decades in the Hanover Square
building, “Supermodels, celebrities and even royalty have swept through its revolving doors.”
Completed in 1958, the seven-story building is
also the headquarters of publishing brands such as GQ and Tatler, and is owned by the Church of England, The Guardian continues.
