Stacy Bettman has been named CEO of Time Out Media, a division of Time Out Group. Previously, she was president, North America & UK.
Based in New York, Bettman will lead Time Out Media worldwide, including North America, the UK, Europe and APAC, and will also head global franchises.
Bettman joined Time Out Media in 2018 as managing director sales North America, then assumed the title of president, Americas.
Prior to that, Bettman held publisher positions at Hearst and associated publisher titles at Condé Nast for beauty, fashion and health brands. In addition, she served at Allure, Marie Claire and Seventeen.
In her five years at Time Out Media, Bettman has “driven great success across audience growth, the breadth of advertising clients we work with and a digital-first, multiplatform strategy,” states Chris Ohlund, Time Out Group CEO, to whom Bettman will report.
Time Out has been “on a transformational journey to become a digital-first global media brand which ensures that we deliver content where our audience is now, all day long: on the web, on mobile, in their social feeds, in the videos they watch, and in their inbox,” Bettman states.
