Back-to-school is
the right time for a kids’ promotion.
So BurgerFi announced that Mondays beginning Sept 25 will be a Kids Eat Free day for every child 12 years old and younger. The free kids meal is
contingent upon purchase of an adult meal and only for restaurant dine-in customers.
"As children return to school, meal planning can become a bit of a juggling act for parents and caregivers.
We aim to simplify dining choices," said Carl Bachmann, chief executive officer of BurgerFi. "Our program presents a convenient option … during this busy time of year.”
The
kids’ meal options include a single burger or cheeseburger, hot dog, grilled cheese or fried chicken tenders. The meal includes a choice of a natural snack or junior fry as a side, along with
juice or Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage and a BurgerFi activity sheet with crayons.

The 125-unit Florida chain, with locations in 22 states, has adopted a “Never Ever Program,” which
states its meat will never include steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals or additives, and will be humanely raised.
The company’s new loyalty program awards new members
free fries upon sign-up and a free frozen custard on their birthday, as well as $10 in rewards for every $100 spent.
In July industry veteran Carl J. Bachmann began his new position as CEO of
BurgerFi, International Inc. Bachman joined the chain from Denver-based competitor Smashburger. BurgerFi International Inc. also owns Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, which operates 60
corporate-owned casual restaurant locations.
