Debbie Anselm is leaving Quad-City (Iowa) Times after eight years as publisher to become executive director of Iowa Newspaper Association, starting on Oct. 20, according to Sioux City Journal. 

Prior to joining Quad City Times, a Lee Enterprises publication, Anselm served as general manager of Times Media Co., also a Lee Enterprises company, the Journal continues. 

In 2021, Anselm was named as group president of Lee’s Iowa business unit.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa Newspaper Association had its origin when Iowa Press Association was founded in 1931. In 1983, that group merged with Iowa Daily Press Association to become Iowa Newspaper Association.
