Daniel Grant has become editor of FarmWeek, a title devoted to Illinois agriculture, effective Monday.
Grant takes over from Deana Stroisch, who was promoted to director of
news.
Previously, Grant was senior commodities editor for FarmWeek. Prior to that, he was a field editor for the Illinois/Indiana AgriNews, and has worked as a sportswriter on several
newspapers, including the Galesburg Register Mail, Macomb Journal, The Pantagraph and the Pontiac Daily Leader. He also was the sports editor of
the Olney Daily Mail and Newton Eagle.
Grant was raised on a farm near Roseville in Warren County and has a small interest in the farm operated by his parents.
