Chase Rankin Hired By Lee Enterprises As 'Omaha World-Herald' President

Lee Enterprises, Inc. has named Chase Rankin as president of the Omaha World-Herald and the company’s Western division.

Rankin replaces Ava Thomas, who has been appointed as president of Lee’s Midwest region.

Previously, Rankin was senior vice president of advertising for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Prior to that, he was vice president of advertising for Gannett’s Republic Media and also served as president and publisher of the Arizona Daily Star, director of advertising for Lee Enterprises and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and sales manager for the Star Tribune in Minneapolis.
