Artem Fishman has been appointed chief technology officer for Dow Jones, effective Dec. 4.
Arriving from LinkedIn, Fishman will oversee the global team of engineers for all Dow Jones brands, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and the company’s business intelligence products and services.
“Artem takes on this pivotal role at an important time for Dow Jones, as we navigate the rollout of new technologies such as generative AI and augment the role of technology in our products and services,” says Almar Latour, CEO of Dow Jones and publisher of The Wall Street Journal.
Latour adds,”Artem will join our executive leadership team and will report to me. Daniel Bernard will continue to report to me in his role as chief experience officer, focusing on product development and customer experience.”
At LinkedIn, Fishman oversaw the content experience organization and also served as the research & development lead at LinkedIn in New York.

Previously, Fishman was chief technology officer at SoundCloud in Berlin. Fishman has also held senior leadership roles at Yahoo, Thomson Reuters and The New York Times.
In addition, Fishman is co-chair of the New York CTO Club, an independent not-for-profit group of senior technologists.
