Eugenia Miranda Richman Named EIC Of 'WWD'

Eugenia Miranda Richman has been named editor in chief of WWD, starting Jan. 26.

Richman will lead the news team while supervising expansion of WWD’s print, web, social and ecommerce programs, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I am honored and humbled to take on such a responsibility — the digital evolution of a legendary New York institution,” says Richman, who will report to Jim Fallon, editorial director of Fairchild Media Group, The Hollywood Reporter continues. 

Richman adds, “WWD’s legacy and authority in the fashion industry is unrivaled, and I look forward to working with Jim to amplify it to a wider audience. With our complementary backgrounds, Jim and I will be able to diversify the brand and business to its fullest potential.”
