Barbie-pink mania may be waning, but
lovers of all things pink fear not. Dunkin’ is bringing back its popular Pink Velvet Macchiato.
This week Dunkin’ announced the return of the sweet colorful drink, along with a new
winter menu and loyalty coffee promotion.
The pastel-hued coffee concoction was previously offered in 2020; exactly 1,037 days ago, according to a release. The relaunch is due “to a
flood of DMs, fan mail, petitions and heartfelt pleas,” according to the brand, which added the drink to its new Winter menu launching Dec. 27.
The layered beverage, to be served hot or
iced, features espresso, red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting flavors and will be available through late February.
Dunkin’ is also releasing a new Frosty Red Velvet specialty donut
to accompany the macchiato, which features a red velvet cake base topped with vanilla-flavored icing and cream cheese-flavored sprinkles.
