CKE Restaurants Appoints Brand Execs For Carl's Jr. and Hardee's

This week CKE Restaurants Holdings (CKE), the parent company of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, announced the appointment of individual brand leaders for each chain.

CKE recently separated the two brands under its umbrella, spurring the leadership restructure into three segments: Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s and International.

New to the company is Blake Devillier, who joined CKE Restaurants as Carl's Jr. USA president as of April 1. Deviller came to CKE from Yum! Brands, where he was most recently SVP of field operations for Taco Bell. Previously, he spent more than 25 years at GAP, Inc., with roles at Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy, including vice president of stores at Old Navy.

Chris Bode was named Hardee’s USA president last October, after serving as the company’s COO. Previously Bode spent almost 12 years at Denny’s as COO before leaving for Hardee’s.

Mike Woida will continue to lead as international president for CKE, a position he has held for over five years. Woida has been with CKE since 1983, holding many senior positions over his tenure.

Carl's Jr. operates more than 1,000 restaurants across the U.S. and has a presence in 24 countries worldwide. Hardee's operates approximately 1,600 restaurants across the U.S. and has a presence in 13 countries worldwide.
