Now there’s no need for caffeine
cravers to go out for their Starbucks’ Grande Caramel Nonfat Latte or Iced Vanilla Chai Tea with Macha Foam; they can enjoy the barista-made drinks at home, courtesy of Grubhub.
This
week Starbuck and Grubhub announced a partnership to bring Grubhub delivery to Starbucks customers in the U.S. According to the release, Starbucks was the “most searched merchant not yet
available on Grubhub's Marketplace.”
Beginning this month Starbucks Delivery with Grubhub will roll out to select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado and Illinois. National availability
via the Grubhub platform is slated for August.
"Customer demand to get Starbucks delivered continues to increase, as evidenced by double-digit growth in the U.S. delivery business this past
quarter, indicating that our customers continue to want convenience in their everyday lives," said Meg Mathes, vice president of digital experiences at Starbucks, in the release. "Our new partnership
with Grubhub will help fuel this growth by increasing availability of Starbucks products to Grubhub's … millions of customers."

In order to facilitate the correct, spill-free delivery
of its beverages, Starbucks developed its own multiple packaging solutions, including two-cup to-go trays and upgraded shopper bags for drinks.
Starbucks Delivery will be available through the
Grubhub mobile app, and customers can track their order just like any other Grubhub delivery.
Most of the Starbucks menu will be available through Grubhub, including seasonal beverages and
food. And those who like to customize their order with espresso shots, flavor, type of milk or espresso roasts, will now be able to do so on the Grubhub app. So that Venti Iced White Mocha with
oat milk and a double pump of caramel with a chocolate swirl will be delivered just as if the customer had ordered it in store.
