Publishing traffic fell by 11% when the debate began, but publishers saw up to 18% during the two commercial breaks. Traffic during the second break jumped
28% and by 32% after the debate versus the baseline of traffic seven days ago.
Meanwhile, the five most-read-about political issues over the past 90 days were:
- Abortion—19 million pageviews
- Economy—8 million pageviews
- Climate change—4 million pageviews
- Gun violence—2 million pageviews
- Healthcare—1 million pageviews
