It may not even be October yet, but consumers are already inundated with spooky costumes and creepy décor. Now a couple of national QSRs have released food-related costumes that are decidedly more sweet than scary. We only wish they smelled as good as they look.
Cinnabon and Auntie Anne’s have teamed up with Spirit Halloween, the largest Halloween retailer in the U.S. with 1,525 seasonal locations, on an exclusive licensed costume collaboration, launched this week.
The Adult Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Nuggets Cup Costume features the brands' Pretzel Nuggets bucket in human size, complete with matching hat in the brand’s yellow and blue signature colors for $49.99. The Adult Cinnabon Box 3D Costume features an oversized boxed Classic Cinnamon Roll image against the chain’s signature baby blue background, also for $49.99.

"We are so excited for our iconic Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon brands to join forces with Spirit Halloween to create a fun new experience just in time for the Halloween season," said Kristen Hartman, specialty category president at GoTo Foods, parent company of both Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon, in a release. "Fans can join us for a spell to enjoy exclusive offerings that will help bring any seasonal celebration to the next level."
Both costumes are unisex and only available while supplies last exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com.
To commemorate the new costumes Auntie Anne’s will offer a limited time Halloween Bucket with a handle. After eating their Pretzel Nuggets, customers can reuse the bucket for trick or treating.
Meanwhile Cinnabon has launched themed Spirit CinnaPacks, which are multi-packs of the chain’s Cinnamon Rolls in a variety of sizes and flavors with themed Halloween sprinkles.
