Newsweek has appointed Megan Knapp as senior vice president of events.
Knapp will be tasked with leading the vision and execution of Newsweek’s event offerings, both physical and virtual.
Previously, Knapp was president of events at Digiday. She also has held key roles at Informa, Business Insider and MediaPost.
“Megan brings a wealth of experience in event strategy and an understanding of how to create content-driven programs that resonate with audiences and align with our mission,” says Dev Pragad, owner and CEO of Newsweek.“We are thrilled to have Megan on board as we expand our global event footprint.”
