Condé Nast is moving Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East into its portfolio operations in Dubai, and will now own and operate the previously licensed titles.
Manuel Arnaut has been named head of editorial for Vogue Arabia and Amine Jreissati will assume the same position at GQ Middle East.
The teams will start publishing across digital platforms soon, and print will follow later this year.
“We are fortunate that Manuel and Amine, two incredibly gifted and creative editors, will be leading our titles,” says Anna Wintour, chief content officer for Condé Nast. “Their taste, judgment and journalistic experience are a huge benefit and the way they have elevated the contributions of artists and designers in the Middle East to the global stage has been tremendous.”
