Thousands of bars across the country boast that they serve every variation of chicken wings, and a nationwide chicken wing chain opened a pop-up bar to promote its own “craft-made” tenders.
Wingstop’s limited-edition Bar Tender was open in Brooklyn April 10 and 11 for influencer events to promote the chain’s new Chicken Tenders, which are a recent addition to the menu.
"We all know the feeling of rolling into our favorite bar with friends and ordering the bartender's specialty," said Wingstop's chief revenue officer Mark Christenson in the announcement. "With Bar Tender, we're shaking things up – literally – serving … a one-of-a-kind experience."
The brand promoted the bar via its social media platforms on Instagram @Wingstop and on TikTok.
The foodie event garnered positive review posts from the likes of @claudiaeatsgood, who showed the bar’s backdrop of tender baskets instead of alcohol bottles, a mukbang station and “flavor flight” cards so attendees could be sure to try all 12 tender varieties. Other posts described the “awesome” DJs and atmosphere of the bar, which was decked out in Wingstop’s signature green and white colors.

The wing behemoth now boasts over 2,550 locations worldwide. Last year was another boon for the company, with Wingstop’s systemwide sales up 36.8% to approximately $4.8 billion for 2024, which represented the 21st consecutive year of same-store sales growth for the chain.
