Lost in the tumult over Anna Wintour  stepping down as editor of U.S. Vogue is the news that Condé Nast has appointed Talib Choudhry as editor of House & Garden in the UK, effective July 21.

Choudhry now serves as head of editorial content for Architectural Digest Middle East.

“Talib is a dynamic and forward-thinking editor with a keen understanding of how to tell compelling stories across all platforms, with a clear editorial voice and strong eye for design,” says Anna Wintour, chief content officer, Condé Nast.

Wintour adds: “The strength of his vision, combined with an ability to reach a new generation of design lovers, makes him the ideal candidate to capture the singularity of House & Garden, and lead the title into a new chapter.”
