Publishers might be interested to know who
drinks the most coffee.
It’s journalists. They consume an average of 3.62 cups of java per day, according to a study by Pressat.
In contrast, healthcare workers drink
3.60 cups, police officers 2.52 cups and drivers and teachers 2.50 cups.
Marketing professionals guzzle 1.3 cups and advertising pros 1.28.
Journalists also spend the most
on coffee.
Add it up and reporters are “still the kings and queens of coffee drinkers, trembling with caffeine in first place,” says Max Forrest at Pressat.
The survey
of 20,000 workers, which was conducted in the UK, does not mention alcohol and tobacco consumption. That may be merciful.
