Dow Jones has announced two high-level
promotions.
Emma O’Brian was promoted to the title of general manager of Factiva. Previously, she was senior vice president of M&A strategy and chief of staff.
Alina Imam was named as chief of staff for Dow Jones. Imam had been serving as vice president of operations for the WSJ Leadership Institute.
“Having already
helped build a strong foundation for Dow Jones, Emma will now take charge of Factiva as it enters the most dynamic phase since its inception, embracing AI-driven search, spawning new specialized data
businesses, and forging an AI marketplace for publishers,” writes Almar Latour, CEO and WSJ publisher.
As chief of staff, Imam will drive
strategic alignment of the executive leadership team as we seek to become the world’s foremost provider of business news and information amid vast changes in technology, geopolitics,
demographics and energy,” Latour adds. “In addition, Alina will manage the Office of the CEO and serve as a key advisor to me.”
