South Florida luxury will be celebrated in a new publication, Laudy magazine, which debuts in September.
The magazine will focus on the Fort
Lauderdale area.
“As 2025 loomed on the calendar, it seemed obvious to me that the city needed something new to tell the stories and spotlight the people that make
Fort Lauderdale what it is now and what it is becoming,” says Carlos Suarez, who previously founded Venice magazine.
Joining Suarez on the
Laudy team are Lori Capullo as content curator and Gail Feldman as
publisher.
The debut issue will consist of more than 200 pages with a print run of 10,000. An event is being scheduled for November.
“What has happened in Fort Lauderdale in the last several years is nothing short of miraculous,” Feldman says. “Real estate continues to be on the rise, the restaurant scene is
evolving and expanding in so many exciting ways, and there is a real sense that the city is no longer in Miami’s shadow but loving the light.”advertisement
