
The New York Times has added
Christopher Lord to its Middle East editing team based in London.
Lord joins Marjorie Olster on the desk, working with correspondents in the region.
Previously, Lord
was an executive editor of Monocle, leading products in print, online and audio. He has also run Monocle’s bureau in Istanbul.
Starting his career by covering stories from
across the Middle East for The National, Lord has served at BBC as a news editor and producer, and went on to work for BBC Radio 4’s politics and current affairs
show.
Lord has also co-authored a nonfiction book, The Men Who Would Be King.
