Vanity Fair has announced several new
hires and promotions, including Olivia Nuzzi, who left her post as Washington correspondent of New York last year after a relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came to
light.
Nuzzi has been named West Coast editor of Vanity Fair. She will edit stories across platforms and subjects, focusing on the events, industries and
culture of the Pacific region.
Kennedy has since become Health and Human Services Secretary.
“In interviews with candidates over the past two months, we have been seeking
out a certain fearlessness—people with a point of view, able to express it in both substance and style,” says Mark Guiducci, global editorial director, who announced the hires. “I
can say that every one of our new colleagues has that quality.”
