The world’s
largest pizza chain’s first brand refresh in 13 years touches all aspects of the company, from the boxes and staff uniforms to its logo colors and fonts, as well as adding a new jingle sung by
country music star Shaboozey.
Domino’s jingle, entitled "Dommmino's," serves double duty as the brand’s tagline as well. One message is that "You can't say Domino's without saying
mmm."
"Over the past decade, we became known as a technology company that happens to sell pizza," says Kate Trumbull, Domino's executive vice president, global chief marketing officer in a
release. "But with our Hungry for More strategy, we're bringing the focus back to making and delivering the most delicious products and experience, which is what Domino's customers really want. Rather
than launching a more traditional tagline, we're baking craveability right into our name and every aspect of our brand as a reminder of this relentless focus...”

A
“cravemark” is how the brand is referring to its “Dommmino's” tagline/jingle, voiced by singer songwriter Shaboozey, and described as “a new audio and visual expression
of its name… designed to be memorable [and] fun to mimic.”
The new tagline/jingle and visuals are revealed in a launch spot, seen here.
The brand refresh includes its colors, typeface and graphics, packaging, ordering app, boxes, print materials, in-store
signage and team member gear.
While the brand’s logo colors remain red and blue, they have “evolve[ed] into the hottest version of each.” The brand has created its own
logo font, entitled "Domino's Sans," which is “thicker and doughier," with perfect circles and semi-circles, in a nod to pizza.
Boxes have been updated with the new fonts and
colors, using the graphic of a red or blue oversized domino. Handmade Pan and Parmesan Stuffed Crust boxes will have black and metallic gold version of the logo.
The refresh is scheduled to
roll out over the next few months across the U.S. and in multiple international markets.
