Will Lewis has stepped down as chief executive and publisher of The Washington Post only days after the Post laid off 30% of its, staff, including 300
journalists, The New York Times reports. Owner Jeff Bezos announced the departure in a press release. Lewis thanked Bezos in a statement but did not mention
the Post’s journalists.
