What an utterly ridiculous premise. And people on the left wonder how those in the center and right of center can make the assertion regarding the media's assault on this Administration. As long
as folks like [
MediaDailyNews writer] David Goetzl are in a position to float this sort of drivel, two things will happen --the non-thinking, on-the-fence voters will be swayed to the left--
but many, many more will see through the veil of inaccuracy and remain hesitant to elect pacifists from the left who don't demonstrate the ability to protect the nation.
So, thanks--sort of....
[For example, from the article:] Part of Al Jazeera's potential difficulty in garnering ad support is due to the Bush administration's persistent criticism of the network for biased
journalism. Major marketers could be wary of drawing the ire of a federal agency that regulates its business by supporting the network. Not sure how this made it by the editorial staff as it is,
again, very clearly [Goetzl's]opinion. To think that ANY brand looking to be sold into the Western Hemisphere would want to be associated with the propaganda machinery of a murderous
organization/religion bent on destruction of all things and people in the West is either naïve or disengenuous. This article is irresponsible at the very least. To blame even this solely on the
Administration is comical, lazy and just plain low-level journalism-- in my opinion, of course.
