All "Law & Order" Series Continue

NBC will keep all three of "Law & Order" series going, with the flagship series on the schedule for fall -- along with "Law & Order: SVU." "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" heads over to USA Network for its seventh season. And after "CI" episodes air on the cable net, they will also run on NBC, a reverse of previous seasons.

"I am very grateful that "Law & Order" is coming back for its 18th season on NBC," says creator Dick Wolf. "Creatively, the show is still firing on all cylinders, and I have no doubt that the show's quality can and will continue for years to come." Next season will bring the 400th episode, a milestone he calls "absolutely staggering." Wolf adds that his "ultimate dream" is for it to become the longest-running drama in TV history, topping the 20-year run of "Gunsmoke."
